Fairfield House Bath CIC is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company founded to protect and celebrate the legacy to Bath of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie I. Diverse stakeholder communities work together to secure and celebrate this lively, sacred and historic place of importance. In line with HIM's stated wish the Elders sit at the heart of what we do.
Preserving the Legacy of
Emperor Haile Selassie I
His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I, Emperor of Ethiopia, King of Kings, Elect of God and Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, a man described as "conscience of the world" and "the world's greatest prophet" during WW2, and as "Father of Africa" later in the 20th century, one of the most influential statesman in history, lived right here at Fairfield House, 2 Kelston Road, on Newbridge Hill in Bath 1936-1940.

The mission is to preserve, protect and celebrate His Imperial Majesty's legacy at Fairfield House, so the Elders feel at home and all can benefit from learning about this special piece of Ethiopian and African history. Our communities need to work together in harmony with His Imperial Majesty's express wish.
